Pixi - Cloth

Pixi-Cloth is an LED starcloth with individual pixel control and full colour mixing.

Pixels are arranged in random positions which makes it look like a standard starcloth - until the reveal! Applications are numerous. At the simplest level it can provide a replacement to conventional starcloth by offering the benefit of long life LED light source. With the addition of a more sophisticated control system, Pixi-Cloth becomes a flexible video wall. The picture on the right shows two 3x6m Pixi-Coth forming the stage backdrop for the BBC Scotland Hogmanay show. The available resolution (400 pixels) is more than adequate for textural graphics such as count downs.

When combined with the Colour-Tramp control system, it becomes possible to playback live video, lighting effects and corporate logos.

Pixi-Power SB2 is designed to power and control Pixi-Cloth. One Pixi-Power SB2 is used for every 3x3m of Pixi-Cloth. The SB2 provides DMX512 control over the cloth. Numerous modes are available ranging from automated programs to full control over individual pixels.
